This recipe contains aloo pudina raita, papad pyaz ka raita, and fruit raita. You just need curd, boiled potato, mint leaves, onion, papad, powdered sugar, fruits, and some spices to prepare these amazing dishes. In addition, you can add many fruits as per your choice and availability. If kids don’t like to eat sabji, you can serve them these healthy dishes.   • Add papad pieces to the pyaz papad raita just before serving otherwise the papad will be soggy.
  • You can add fruits as per choice and availability.
  • Milk should be added to the fruit raita so the curd will not be sour.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING ALOO PUDINA RAITA :
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Boiled Potatoes / Uble Hue Aloo - 1 Peeled & chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1/4 tsp + As required
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Roasted Peanuts / Mungfali - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • Ginger-Green Chilli-Mint Paste / Adrak-Hari Mirch-Pudina Paste - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Curd / Dahi - 1 Cup whisked
  • Chaat Masala - As required
  • Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder / Bhuna Jeera Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Mint Leaves / Pudina - For garnishing
  • FOR PREPARING PYAZ PAPAD KA RAITA :
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Small sized finely chopped
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1 Finely chopped (optional)
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhania - A handful + For garnishing
  • Curd / Dahi - 1 Cup whisked
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Chaat Masala - As required
  • Roasted Cumin Seeds Powder / Bhuna Jeera Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Roasted Papad - 1 crushed
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - For garnishing
  • FOR PREPARING MIX FRUIT RAITA :
  • Curd / Dahi - 1 Cup whisked
  • Milk - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Banana / Kela - 1/2 Chopped
  • Guava / Amrud - 1/2 Chopped
  • Apple / Seb - 1/2 Chopped
  • Pomegranate / Anardana - 1 tbsp
  • Saffron Milk - 1 tbsp + For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING ALOO PUDINA RAITA :
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add boiled potato, salt, 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well and saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally.
  3. Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  4. Then transfer it to a serving bowl. Add roasted peanuts, ginger-green chilli-pudina paste, coriander leaves, and curd. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin seeds powder, and red chilli powder. Garnish it with roasted peanuts and mint leaves.
  6. FOR PREPARING PYAZ PAPAD KA RAITA :
  7. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and onion. Mix well and saute it for a few seconds on medium flame. Keep stirring occasionally.
  8. Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  9. Then transfer it to a serving bowl. Add green chilli, coriander leaves, and curd. Mix well.
  10. Sprinkle salt, chaat masala, roasted cumin seeds powder, and add crushed papad. Add powdered sugar on it. Garnish it with coriander leaves and red chilli powder.
  11. FOR PREPARING MIX FRUIT RAITA :
  12. Take curd in a bowl. Add milk, pinch of salt, powdered sugar, banana, guava, apple, pomegranate, and saffron milk. Mix well.
  13. Add a few pomegranate, apple, and guava pieces on it. Garnish it with saffron milk.
