4 In 1 Vada Pav Wrap is an amazing way to present vada pav’s healthier version.

4 In 1 Vada Pav Wrap is a unique idea for adding vada pav to your regular meals. You can prepare it with easily available ingredients. You need cheese, boiled potato, cooked roti, green chutney, and some spices. Moreover, whenever you have leftover roti, you can easily use them without wasting them. So, try to make this quick dish in your kitchen and share your feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING POTATO MIXTURE :
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds / Rai - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger / Adrak - 1 Inch grated
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1 to 2 Finely chopped
  • Curry Leaves / Curry Patta - A few
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Boiled Potato / Uble Hue Aloo - 2 Peeled and chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • All Spice Mix Powder / Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • FOR PREPARING CHUTNEY :
  • Namkeen Boondi - 1/2 Cup
  • Desiccated Coconut Powder / Nariyal Ka Burada - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 4 to 5 Cloves
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • FOR PREPARING 4 IN 1 VADA PAV WRAP :
  • Cooked Roti - 1
  • Green Chutney / Hari Chutney - As required
  • Onion Rings / Pyaz Rings - Of 1/2 onion
  • Cheese Slice - 1/2
  • Clarified Butter / Ghee - As required
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - For garnishing
  • Green Chilli / Hari Mirchi - 1
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING POTATO MIXTURE :
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, ginger, green chilli, and curry leaves by breaking them. Mix well. Saute it for a few seconds on medium flame.
  3. Now add turmeric powder and mix well. Then add boiled potato and mix well.
  4. Then add salt and all spice mix powder. Mix well by mashing the potato.
  5. Once done, turn off the flame and keep it aside. Let it cool down. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Then make a small ball sized flattened tikki. Keep it aside.
  6. FOR PREPARING CHUTNEY :
  7. Take namkeen boondi in a grinding jar. Add desiccated coconut powder, garlic, salt, and red chilli powder. Grind it for a few seconds to prepare its chutney. Take it out in a bowl.
  8. FOR PREPARING 4 IN 1 VADA PAV WRAP :
  9. Take a cooked roti. Apply green chutney on it. Cut the roti in the 1/4 portion.
  10. Then add the prepared potato tikki on the left lower side. Add the prepared garlic chutney on the left upper side.
  11. Now add onion on the right upper side. Sprinkle garlic chutney on it. Add the cheese slice piece on the lower right side. Sprinkle garlic chutney all over the roti.
  12. Start folding the roti to make a triangle wrap. First fold the potato tikki side up over the garlic chutney, then keep folding over onion and last over the cheese.
  13. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Apply ghee and add prepared wrap. Roast it from both sides by applying ghee
  14. Roast it from both sides by pressing it till it becomes crispy. Add coriander leaves and garlic chutney on both sides of it. Add green chilli on it. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  15. '4 In 1 Vada Pav Wrap' is ready to be served.
