Ingredients

Wheat flour/ atta - 1 cup
Gram flour/besan - 1 tablespoon
Suji - 2 tablespoons
Salt as per taste
Ghee - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder/ haldi - 1/2 teaspoon
Hing - 1/2 teaspoon
Water

Instructions

Mix atta, besan, suji, haldi powder, salt and hing in a bowl.
Add a teaspoon of ghee and mix in the flour till bread crumbs like consistency is attained.
Pour some water and make a tight dough.
Divide the dough into equal portions.
Make small ball from the dough. Flatten it and add some ghee again. Close it and make a round ball and keep it aside.
Place the bati in microwave and bake at the temperature of 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
Place the bati on a high rack and grill for 5 minutes or more till they are baked properly.
Once baked, coat them with ghee. (I have added a bit of ghee on each bati and didn't immerse it totally. It is personal preference.)
Serve bati with mixed dal tempered with ghee, salad and pickles.
