Moreover, paneer stuffing is innovative and delicious in taste. Here is a fusion of besan chilla with paneer stuffing. It is healthy as well as a yummy dish to serve in tiffin or as any time meal. This will be a great alternative for heavy parathas. Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING PANEER MIXTURE :
  • Onion / Pyaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 1/2 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala / 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • FOR PREPARING BESAN PANEER CHILLA :
  • Gram flour / Besan - 2 Tablespoons
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon + For garnishing
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - A pinch
  • Water - As required
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING PANEER MIXTURE :
  2. Take onion in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, mashed paneer, salt, red chilli powder, and black pepper powder. Mix well.
  3. FOR PREPARING BESAN PANEER CHILLA :
  4. Take gram flour in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder. Then add water gradually and prepare a medium thick consistency batter.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Pour the batter on the tawa and spread it like a small pancake. Cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame.
  6. Now spread prepared paneer mixture on it and press it. Now sprinkle red chilli powder on it. Pour some drops of ghee on it.
  7. Flip it to cook the other side as well. Once it is cooked on both sides, transfer it to a serving plate.
  8. 'Besan Paneer Chilla' is ready to be served.
