Bread Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Vada is a mouthwatering snack for everyone. 

Bread Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Vada is very quick and easy to prepare. This is an instant recipe which does not require any type of cooking. You just need bread, sweetened curd, different types of chutneys, some spices. This is a very innovative idea to make dahi vada from bread. Moreover, it tastes just as same as regular dahi vada. This can be a quick evening tea-time snack or you can serve it to the guests as well. Everyone will enjoy this yummy snack. So, try to make this snack at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can use white or brown bread to make the vada.
  • If you want, you can make stuffed dahi vada as well.

Ingredients

  • Bread - 4 Slices
  • Milk - 1 Cup
  • Water - 1/2 Cup
  • Sweetened Curd - as required
  • Imli Chutney/Tamarind Chutney - as required
  • Green Chutney - as required
  • Red Chilli Powder - as per taste
  • Cumin powder - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Coriander Leaves - as required for garnishing
  • Pomegranate seeds - as required for garnishing
  • Namkeen Sev - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add milk and water.
  2. Cut the sides of bread to remove brown part. Then soak bread slice in milk then press to make ball. Repeat the process to make more vada. Keep the balls on a serving plate.
  3. Pour sweetened curd then tamarind chutney, green chutney on vada. Sprinkle red chilli powder, cumin powder, little salt. Then garnish it with pomegranate seeds, namkeen sev and coriander leaves.
  4. Delicious 'Bread Dahi Vada | Instant Dahi Vada' is ready to be served.
