Bread Manchurian is very innovative and lip-smacking snack for all. 

Bread Manchurian is a crispy and delicious snack. The Manchurian ball requires bread in this recipe along with some veggies and spices. Then it is tossed with sauces and veggies to make the yummy snack. Manchurian is a very popular Indo- Chinese street food across India. Generally, veggies with refined flour and cornflour used to make the balls. But by following this recipe you can make this snack a little bit healthy. It is crispier than the regular Manchurian as well. Moreover, it very quick and easy to prepare. You can have this as an evening snack. So, try to make this snack item at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANCHURIAN BALLS:-
  • Bread Crumbs - 1 Cup or Crumbs of 3 bread
  • Cabbage - 2 Tablespoon chopped
  • Carrot - 2 Tablespoon grated
  • Corn Flour - 2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 3/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - as required for frying
  • INGREDIENTS FOR GRAVY:-
  • Cabbage - 2 to 3 Tablespoon chopped
  • Capsicum - 2 to 3 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Onion - 2 to 3 Tablespoon chopped
  • Garlic - 1 Tablespoon chopped
  • Hot and Sour sauce - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Soy Sauce - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 1 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 Tablpesoon
  • Corn flour - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Oil - 2 Tablespoon
  • Coriander leaves - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. PREPARING MANCHURIAN BALLS:-
  2. Take a bowl and add bread crumbs, cabbage, grated carrot, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, corn flour and little salt. Mix well with hands. Than add little water just to bind the ingredients. Do not add more water.
  3. Make small balls of the dough. (you can make shape of your choice) Meanwhile, heat oil for frying.
  4. Once the oil is hot, fry the Manchurian balls on a medium flame until they turn golden brown. Take them out and keep aside.
  5. PREPARING THE GRAVY:-
  6. Heat oil in a pan.
  7. Add garlic, capsicum, onion and cabbage. Saute them on a high flame for couple of minutes.
  8. Then add hot and sour sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, tomato sauce and little salt. Mix well and cook.
  9. Make a paste of corn flour and water. Add this to the pan. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  10. Finally, add fried Manchurian balls. Mix well to coat all Manchurian balls. Then switch off the gas. Transfer to a bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
  11. Yummy 'Bread Manchurian' is ready to served.
