Ingredients

  • Bread Slices - 2
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese - 1 Cup grated
  • Peri-peri masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - For garnishing
  • FOR PREPARING TADKA :
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 2 Finely chopped
  • Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Rock salt / Sendha namak - As per taste
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take a bread slice and cut it into 9 equal parts. Likewise, prepare bread pieces from another slice.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add bread pieces. Mix well. Toast it for 4 to 5 minutes on low to medium flame till it becomes nice golden and crispy. Stir it occasionally. Once done, keep it aside.
  3. Heat butter in a tadka pan. Add green chilli, mixed herbs, chilli flakes, and rock salt. Mix well and add coriander leaves.
  4. Now add the prepared tadka to the roasted bread pan. Mix well. Heat the pan.
  5. Then add grated mozzarella cheese, peri-peri masala, chilli flakes, and coriander leaves on it. Cover the pan with a lid.
  6. Cook it for 1 to 2 minutes till the cheese melts. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  7. 'Cheesy Chilli Bread Bites' is ready to be served.
