Ingredients

  • Butter - 1 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds / Rai - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste / Adrakh-lahsun paste - 2 Teaspoon
  • Pav bhaji masala - 1 Teaspoon + 2 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - As per taste
  • Onion / Pyaz - 2 Finely chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 Finely chopped
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 2 Finely chopped
  • Frozen peas / Matar - 1/4 Cup (optional)
  • Spinach / Palak - 1 Cup finely chopped
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Potato / Aloo - 2 Boiled and mashed
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Bun - 4 Pieces joined
  • Mozzarella cheese - As required (grated)
  • Processed cheese - As required (grated)
  • Lemon juice - Of 1/2 Lemon
  • Oregano - As required
  • Red chilli flakes - As required
  • FOR PREPARING GARLIC BUTTER :
  • Butter - 1/4 Cup melted
  • Garlic - 3 to 4 Cloves crushed
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - 1 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING GARLIC BUTTER :
  2. Take butter in a bowl. Add garlic and coriander leaves. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  3. FOR PREPARING BHAJI :
  4. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and ginger-garlic paste. Saute it for 1 minute.
  5. Then add 1 Teaspoon pav bhji masala and red chilli powder. Mix well. Now add onion, capsicum, tomato, peas, and spinach. Mix well.
  6. Saute them on high flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Then add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and 2 Teaspoons pav bhaji masala. Mix well.
  7. Now keep the flame low and mash it using a masher. Then keep the flame high and add potato. Then mash it again using a masher.
  8. Now add coriander leaves. Mix well. Cook it for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  9. Add mozzarella cheese, processed cheese, and lemon juice. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  10. FOR PREPARING CHEESY PULL APART BREAD :
  11. Now make horizontal and vertical deep cuts (Leaving the bottom) on a loaf of the bun.
  12. Now add prepared garlic butter in between all cuts of the bun. Then add prepared bhaji in between all cuts.
  13. Meanwhile, heat a pan. Grease it with garlic butter. Add prepared pull apart bread. Add garlic butter, mozzarella cheese, and processed cheese to it.
  14. Now sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes on it. Then cover the pan with a lid. Cook it on low flame for 10 to 12 minutes.
  15. Once done, take it out to a serving plate.
  16. 'Cheesy Pull Apart Bread' is ready to be served.
