Chocolate Powder | Homemade Chocolate Powder is a tasty alternative and is healthy as well.

Chocolate Powder | Homemade Chocolate Powder is a delicious and healthy substitute for the marketed chocolate drinks. This is easy to prepare using fewer ingredients. This powder is rich on protein and nutrients as this uses dry nuts like almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts. Milk powder gives a nice creamy texture to the milk. Moreover, it is quick and very simple to prepare within minutes. You can make and store this powder as well. This is not only tasty but good for health because it does not contain any preservatives, additives and artificial colours. This is suitable for all age groups including kids. Not only kids but all family members will enjoy milk after adding this powder. So, try to make it at home and enjoy with your family. Do let us know your feedback.

  • You can avoid adding mishri/rock sugar to the powder.
  • You can store this powder in the airtight container for a month.
  • Add 1 to 2 Teaspoon in a glass of milk to make a chocolate drink.

Ingredients

  • Almond - 8 to 10
  • Cashew Nuts - 8 to 10
  • Peanuts - 1/2 Cup
  • Whole Wheat Flour/Gehu Ka aata - 1/2 Cup
  • Milk Powder - 1/2 Cup
  • Mishri/Rock Sugar - 1/2 Cup powdered
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take a pan and add almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts. Roast them on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  2. Meanwhile, dry roast the whole wheat flour on a low flame. Once it is aromatic, add roasted almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts. Mix well and let it cool completely.
  3. Once the mixture is cooled completely, transfer to the grinder jar. Add powdered mishri, milk powder, cocoa powder. Grind to make fine powder. Keep the powder in an air-tight container.
  4. 'Homemade Chocolate Powder' is ready to use.
