Cucumber Ragi Dosa is yummy and healthy dosa.

Cucumber Ragi Dosa is a dosa made with finger millet, gram flour and cucumber. It is a delicious and healthy dish which is very easy to prepare. Ragi or Finger Millet is one super food that has much nutritional value. This grain is most popular in south India. So, here is one simple quick easy but very healthy and full of nutrient breakfast/tiffin item – Ragi Dosa with a twist of cucumber.

Ingredients

  • Ragi Flour/Finger millet flour - 1 cup
  • Besan/Gram flour - 1 Tablespoon (optional)
  • Curd - 1/2 Cup (optional)
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Ajwain/carom seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Jeera/Cumin - 1 Teaspoon
  • Grated Kheera/Cucumber - 1
  • Chopped green chillies - 1 to 2
  • Fresh Coriander - a handful chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix besan and ragi flour with curd, salt, red chilli powder. Make a batter. Add jeera and ajwain seeds to it.
  2. Add grated kheera, green chillies and coriander leaves. Mix all.
  3. The batter should not be too runny. Rest the batter for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Heat a dosa tawa. Pour some oil drops and pour the batter. Spread the batter in a circular manner to make dosa.
  5. When cooked from one side, flip it. Keep the flame on low. Cook the other side.
  6. When it turns into a golden colour, take out in a serving plate.
  7. Yummy 'Cucumber Ragi Dosa' is ready to be served. Serve hot with any chutney sauce of your choice.
