Curd Sandwich | Dahi Sandwich is a mouthwatering and healthy breakfast for everyone. 

Curd Sandwich | Dahi Sandwich is a flavourful and delicious breakfast option. This has lots of veggies along with the goodness of curd. It is a good and healthy alternative for mayonnaise as well. You can easily prepare this sandwich for breakfast or evening snack or after school snack for kids. You just need hung curd along with some veggies to prepare this sandwich. It is a hassle-free dish and requires very less efforts. Everyone will love this sandwich. So, try to make this sandwich at home and let us know your feedback as well.

  • Roast the sandwich on a medium flame using oil or butter or ghee.

Ingredients

  • Brown Bread - 2 slices
  • Hung Curd - 1/2 Cup
  • Onion - 1 Tablespoon chopped
  • Carrot - 1 Tablespoon chopped
  • Green Capsicum - 1 Tablespoon chopped
  • Tomato - 1 Tablespoon chopped
  • Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 to 2 Tablespoon chopped
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon or as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Oil - as required for roasting

Instructions

  1. To make hung curd, hang the curd in a muslin cloth or keep the curd in the sieve to remove excess water.
  2. Take hung curd in a bowl. Add chopped onion, carrot, capsicum, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, salt. Mix well.
  3. Take a bread slice, spread the mixture. Cover it with another bread slice.
  4. Heat a tawa on a medium flame.
  5. Grease the tawa with oil. Put the mustard seeds then sandwich for roasting. Roast the sandwich from both the sides on a medium flame. Apply oil on both the sides to roast.
  6. Once the sandwich turns crisp and golden brown, take it out. Cut into pieces.
  7. Delicious 'Curd Sandwich | Dahi Sandwich' is ready to be served.
