Desi Style Pasta With Garlic Bread is an Indian-style dish.

Desi Style Pasta With Garlic Bread is a lip-smacking tiffin snack. This desi-style pasta does not require any type of ready pasta sauce, it can be prepared using only ketchup. Anyone can prepare this pasta with minimum ingredients available at home. You can serve it as an evening snack or you can pack it for Kid’s lunch box. Ingredients

  • FOR BOILING PASTA :
  • Macaroni pasta - 1 Cup
  • Hot water - As required
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Oil - 1 Teaspoon
  • FOR PREPARING DESI STYLE PASTA :
  • Oil - 1 Teaspoon
  • Garlic / Lahsun - 3 to 4 Cloves finely chopped
  • Onion / Pyaaz - 1 Finely chopped
  • Capsicum - 1 Finely chopped
  • Green chilli / Hari mirchi - 1 Finely chopped (optional)
  • Tomato / Tamatar - 1/2 Finely chopped
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1 Teaspoon
  • Tomato ketchup - 3 to 4 Teaspoons
  • Mixed herbs - 2 Teaspoons
  • Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
  • Pizza seasoning - 1 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • FOR PREPARING GARLIC BREAD :
  • Butter - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red chilli flakes - 1 Teaspoon
  • Pizza seasoning - 1 Teaspoon
  • Garlic bread - 2 Slices

Instructions

  1. FOR BOILING PASTA :
  2. Boil water in a pan and add oil, salt, and pasta. Cook it on a medium to high flame for 7 to 8 minutes and then drain the water. Keep it aside.
  3. FOR PREPARING DESI STYLE PASTA :
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion, capsicum, and green chilli. Mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Add tomato and all spice mix powder. Mix well. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  6. Then add tomato ketchup and mixed herbs. Mix well.
  7. Now add boiled pasta to it. Mix well. Add oregano, pizza seasoning, and tomato ketchup. Mix well.
  8. Then add coriander leaves and black pepper powder. Mix well. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes. Once done, turn off the flame. Take it out to a serving plate.
  9. FOR PREPARING GARLIC BREAD :
  10. Heat butter in a pan. Add red chilli flakes and pizza seasoning. Mix well.
  11. Now place garlic bread in the pan and coat it with spices from both sides. Once done, turn off the flame. Take it out to a serving plate.
  12. 'Desi Style Pasta With Garlic Bread' is ready to be served with pomegranate and grapes.
