Dora cake is a type of pancake which finds its origin in Japan. 

Dora cake got popular from the popular cartoon Doraemon. Dora cake, also known as Dorayaki, is Doraemon’s favourite food. Hence, it has become a favourite food for many kids too! This is a simple and easy to make pancake recipe, which can be served for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • All purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 3 teaspoons (powdered)
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Chocolate syrup - 2 teaspoons
  • Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Add all-purpose flour, sugar, vanilla extract, baking soda and milk in a bowl to make semi thick batter.
  2. Keep the batter aside for 10 minutes and mix it again.
  3. Add oil in a pan. Swipe it and put the batter in the centre.
  4. Cook it until the bubbles come out. Flip it and cook on the other side for 2 minutes.
  5. Put Dora cake on a serving plate. Spread chocolate syrup over it. Add another Dora cake over it and then decorate it with chocolate syrup.
  6. Dora cake is ready to be served.
