Homemade Maaza | Homemade Frooty is a cool refreshing drink for all.

Homemade Maaza | Homemade Frooty reminds me of old golden days when we love to have a sip in hot summers. This maaza can add to more taste and flavours if made at home. This is a healthy alternative for marketed one. The good thing it does not contain any colour, additives and preservatives. You do not have to worry about it. Kids and all family members will love this drink. So, try this super easy drink at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

  • Do add raw mango to make the drink tangy.

Ingredients

  • Hafoos (Alphonso) Aam/ Mango - 2
  • Kaccha Aam/ Raw Mango - 1
  • Sugar - 3/4 to 1 bowl or as per taste
  • Chilled Water - 1 litre or as required
  • Lemon Juice - juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt - a pinch

Instructions

  1. Put pressure cooker on gas and add 1 glass water with chopped Haffus aam and kaccha aam. Heat it on high flame till one whistle comes. Switch off the gas and open the cooker after steam is out. Add Sugar and salt to it. Mix well until the sugar get dissolved.
  2. After it gets cooled completely, blend it using a blender or a grinder. Sieve the mixture using a sieve.
  3. Add approximately 1 litre chilled water and lemon juice. Stir it. Pour in the serving glass.
  4. "Homemade Maaza" is ready for your family and friends.
