How to Sprout a Moong And Stir-Fry is an easy, tasty as well as a healthy recipe. Once the moong beans have been sprouted, we can easily flavor it as per taste. A quick and easy healthy recipe prepared from freshly sprouted moong beans with finely chopped veggies and spices. It is an ideal weight loss recipe. Ingredients

  • Ghee/ clarified butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 teaspoon finely chopped
  • Green capsicum - 1 teaspoon finely chopped
  • Tomatoes - 1 teaspoon finely chopped
  • Sprouted green moong beans - 1 bowl
  • Salt - as required
  • Red chili powder - as required
  • Mixed herbs - as required
  • Chaat masala - as required (optional)
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. Clean and pick the stone or debris from the moong beans.
  2. Wash and rub it under running water.
  3. Soak it in enough water for 8 hours or overnight.
  4. Then discard the soaking water, wash the soaked beans again, and drain the water completely.
  5. Take it into damp cloth and tie a knot with edges of cloth.
  6. During this process, if the cloth dries out sprinkle some water and keep moist, damp.
  7. Use the moong sprouts the same day or store in fridge.
  8. Heat ghee in a pan.
  9. Add onion and green capsicum. Saute it on high flame.
  10. Add tomato and saute for a few seconds.
  11. Further, add sprout moong and saute it for 10 to 15 seconds.
  12. Add salt, red chili powder, mixed herbs, and chaat masala. Saute it well and turn off the flame.
  13. Squeeze lemon juice over it and mix it well.
  14. Delicious How to Sprout a Moong And Stir-Fry is ready to be served.
