Kala Chana Salad | Detox Weight Loss Salad colourful and nutritious salad. This salad is high in protein and other nutrients. Moreover, this is quick and easy to prepare with easily available ingredients. You can have it as a breakfast or a snack or a meal. This will help to detox your body and reduce weight as well. It has chickpeas, onion, tomato, cucumber, pomegranate seeds and some spices. Pomegranate seeds give a tangy and sweet taste to the salad. Everyone will love this salad.   • Roasting of black chickpeas is completely optional. If you want you can use raw spouts as well.

Ingredients

  • Ankurit Kala Chala/ Black Chickpea Sprouts - 1 Cup
  • Anaar ke DaanePomegranate seeds - 2 Tablespoon
  • Pyaaz/ Onion - 1 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Tamatar/ Tomato - 1 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Kheera/ Cucumber - 1 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Grated Gajar/ Carrot - 1 Tablespoon
  • Kali Mirch powder/ Black Pepper powder - a pinch
  • Kala Namak/ Black salt - a pinch
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Nimbu Ras/ Lemon Juice - 1/2

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the black chickpea sprouts for 2 minutes. Then transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add finely chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, grated carrot, pomegranate seeds, salt, black salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, chopped coriander seeds, and lemon juice. Toss well.
