Mixed Dal Dhokla is one of the easiest dishes to be made for an oil-free breakfast. This little sweet, tangy and spicy dhokla requires mixed pulses, gram flour, curd. The tempering of mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilli, lemon juice and sugar added on the top of it after steaming. This is very healthy, rich in protein. So, try to make this dhokla at home and enjoy with your family.
Tips and suggestions by Mom Chef:-
- You can use a combination of pulses like split pigeon peas/toor dal, green gram/moong dal etc.
- Add fruit salt/eno and baking powder just before steaming the dhokla.
- Make sure the water is boiling when you put the dhokla in the steamer.
