Ingredients

  • Thick wheat flour- 500g
  • Wet urad grind pulse- 1/2 Bowl
  • Boiled potato- 1/2 kg
  • Chopped Coriander leaf- 1 tbsp
  • Spices - Asafoetida- 2 pinch, Cumin seeds-1 spoon, Red chili flakes- 1/2 spoon, Turmeric- 1 spoon, Coriander powder- 2 spoon, Salt 2 spoon or as per taste ,Dry Mango powder-1 spoon, Garam masala-1 spoon , Degi Chili - 1 spoon, Kasoori Methi - 1 spoon
  • Refined oil or ghee for deep fry and tadka

Instructions

  1. Mix 1 spoon salt in Thick ( daliya ) wheat flour and add water in it. Make soft dough of it.
  2. Make little little round balls from this dough.Mix little salt and red chili flakes and asafoetida in grind urad pulse and stuff in each ball. Keep aside the balls covered for two hours .
  3. Now put a pan kadhai on stove and ghee or refined oil in it and heat up till smoke comes agravy hot and hot. it's famous of old dehli thank you
  4. Make circular poori and put this in kadhai. Fry till crispy gold brown color coles and then turn it over on the other side. Fry the other side also.
  5. Put a pan on stove and put little oil. Put asafoetida, cumin seeds in it and fry till they appear golden. Now put degi chili in it and after this put all spices mentioned above.
  6. Put cut small pieces of potoato in it and mix well. Now add 2 bowl of water and sauté till 10 minutes.
  7. Put coriander powder, kasoori methi, very little garam masala and dry mango powder in it. Mix well and cover the pan for 1 to 2 minute. Potato gravy is ready. Garnish with it Coriander leaf.
  8. Servw hot bedmi poori with garma garam aloo ki sabzi! Enjoy!
