Oatmeal Banana Pancake is a yummy pancake for kid’s tiffin or breakfast

Oatmeal Banana Pancake is a delicious pancake requires oatmeal, banana with the flavour of cinnamon. It can be served with honey or maple syrup or chocolate sauce as breakfast. Another option is, serve it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream as a dessert. This is a 5 minutes recipe, tastes delicious moreover is healthy too. This is a good option for your breakfast or kid’s tiffin snack. All family members will enjoy this eggless pancake very much. So, try to make this pancake at home and let us know how you liked it.

Tips and Suggestions by the Chefs:-

  • Use strawberries or any other fruit to make the pancakes.
  • You can serve the pancake with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream or chocolate sauce or honey.
  • Add powdered dry nuts to the batter of pancake to make it more healthy.
  • The consistency of the batter should be thick else it will not turn out well.

Ingredients

  • Oatmeal flour - 2 Tablespoon
  • Maida/refined flour - 1 Tablespoon
  • Banana - 1 small sized
  • Powdered Sugar - as per taste
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Baking Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder - a pinch
  • Water or Milk - as required to make batter
  • Oil or Butter or Ghee/Clarified butter - as required to make pancake
  • FOR SERVING:-
  • Banana slices - as required for serving
  • Maple Syrup - as required for serving

Instructions

  1. Peel and mash a banana in a bowl.
  2. Now, add oatmeal flour, maida, salt, powdered sugar, cinnamon powder, baking powder. Mix well. (You can grind the rolled oats to make oatmeal flour)
  3. Add little water or milk or more mashed banana to the batter. It should be of the falling consistency. It should not be too runny or too thick.
  4. Heat a pan, add oil or butter or ghee.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan to make a little thick pancake. Cook it on a medium flame.
  6. When the colour changes to light brown of one side, flip it and cook from another side.
  7. Once done, transfer to the serving plate.
  8. Garnish it with banana slices and maple syrup.
  9. Yummy 'Oatmeal Banana Pancake' is ready to be served.
