Oats Uttapam – Instant Recipe

Mornings are usually busy for all of us. So I have brought a quick and healthy recipe from Oats – “Oats Uttapam”. This recipe can be served in breakfasts as well as for kids lunch box. Oats are very rich source of fiber, hence are used in most of the homes. So, let’s start with the details of the recipe.

Ingredients

  • Oats - 1 bowl
  • Capsicum chopped - 1
  • Onions chopped - 1
  • Tomatoes chopped - 1
  • Coriander leaves - handful chopped
  • Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil - 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take oats, capsicums, onions, tomatoes, red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt, coriander leaves and mix them well by adding some water to it.
  2. Heat a non stick tawa on medium flame and pour 2 drops of oil.
  3. Pour the uttapam batter now and spread the same properly. Cook it on medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Flip the other side, pour 2 drops of oil and cook it well from this side too. Likewise make all the uttapams.
  5. Delicious and quick "Oats Uttapam" is ready to serve with pickle and ginger tea.
