Open Sandwiches | 4 Types of Open Sandwiches include Paneer Corn Open Sandwich, Mexican Open Sandwich, Cheese Chilli Garlic Open Sandwich, Mumbai Masala Open Sandwich. These are a yummy version of the sandwiches. These are very healthy and mouthwatering sandwiches. These will love by all especially kids. You can have this as a breakfast or a snack or even a light meal. This has fresh veggies, cheese, paneer, corn. It is a good tiffin snack for kids. So, try to make these open sandwiches at home and enjoy with your loved ones.

This recipe was prepared under live cooking contest ‘Zayka Premier League’ by a lovely mom from Mumbai – Shveta Sheth.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can cut the sandwiches into a triangle for serving.
  • Adding oil to make Mumbai Masala Sandwich is important. It will give binding to the mixture.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS PANEER CORN OPEN SANDWICH:-
  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese - 1/2 Cup Crumbled
  • Boiled Sweet Corn - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Chopped Onion - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Mint Leaves - few
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Grated Cheese - as required
  • Bread Slice - 1
  • INGREDIENTS MEXICAN OPEN SANDWICH:-
  • Tomato - 1 chopped in little big chunks
  • Onion - 2 to 2 finely chopped
  • Cilantro or Coriander leaves - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Green Chilli - as per taste chopped
  • Vinegar - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice - as per taste
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Grated Cheese - as required
  • Bread slice - 1
  • INGREDIENTS CHEESE CHILLI GARLIC OPEN SANDWICH:-
  • Melted butter - 2 Tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 Teaspoon finely chopped
  • Green Chilli - 1 finely chopped
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Tricolour Capsicum - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Grated Cheese - as required
  • Bread slice - 1
  • INGREDIENTS MUMBAI MASALA OPEN SANDWICH:-
  • Boiled Potato - 1 mashed
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Red chilli powder - a pinch or as per taste
  • Amchoor/Dry Mango Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Oil - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Onion - 2 to 3 Tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt - as per tasye
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Tomato Sauce - as requires
  • Namkeen Sev - as required
  • Grated Cheese - as required
  • Bread slice - 1

Instructions

  1. PREPARING PANEER CORN OPEN SANDWICH:- Take a bowl and add crumbled paneer, boiled corn, finely chopped onion, few mint leaves, chaat masala, salt, 1 tablespoon of grated cheese. Mix well.
  2. Take a bread slice and put 2 to 3 tablespoon of the mixture. Top it with grated cheese. Grill it on a pan until the cheese gets melted.
  3. PREPARING MEXICAN OPEN SANDWICH:- Take a bowl and add chopped tomato, chopped onion, cilantro, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, green chilli. Mix well.
  4. Take a bread slice and put 2 to 3 tablespoon of the mixture. Top it with grated cheese. Grill it on a pan until the cheese gets melted.
  5. PREPARING CHEESE CHILLI GARLIC OPEN SANDWICH:- Take a bowl and add melted butter, chopped garlic, green chilli. Mix well.
  6. Take a bowl, add chopped tricolour capsicum, salt and black pepper.
  7. Take a bread slice and apply butter mixture. Put tricolour capsicum. top it with grated cheese. Grill it on a pan until the cheese gets melted.
  8. PREPARING MUMBAI MASALA OPEN SANDWICH:- Take a bowl and add mashed potato. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, chaat masala, dry mango powder, onion, cilantro. Mix well.
  9. Take a bread slice, apply tomato sauce. Put the potato mixture. Top it with namkeen sev. Top it with grated cheese. Grill it on a pan until the cheese gets melted.
  10. Delicious 'Open Sandwiches | 4 Types of Open Sandwiches' are ready to be served.
