Palak Poha Pakora is a non-fried yet tasty snack for all.

Palak Poha Pakora is made with spinach, gram flour, poha/flattened rice and some spices. It is made in an appe but are equally tasty. In the rainy season, craving for fried foods increases. But many times we can’t have them due to health and diet restrictions. So, here is one such less oil snack item that tastes just like the fried version. To add crunch, poha is used and spinach/palak is added to make it healthier with high nutritional value. So enjoy these pakoras guilt free.

  3. Mix all and add little oil to besan. Add little water to make the smooth soft thick batter as we make for pakoras. Let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Heat appe pan. Put some oil and pour the batter with a spoon. Cover with lid.
  5. When cooked from one side, flip it. Keep the flame on low. Cook the other side.
  6. When the Pakoras turn into golden colour, they are ready.
  7. Yummy 'Palak Poha Pakora' is ready to be served. Serve them hot with chutney/sauce and a cup of hot tea/coffee.
  8. Note - One can deep fry these pakoras also. But I prefer to use Appe pan.
