Red And Green Chilli Pickle is a delicious and spicy pickle for everyone. 

Red And Green Chilli Pickle is a quick and easy pickle recipe. This does not require much any type of cooking and much ingredients. This does well with any type of paratha or meal. It is an instant pickle that you can prepare immediately and enjoy. You just need some spices, green and red chillies to prepare this pickle. Everyone will love this colourful pickle. So, try to make it at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

This pickle was prepared by Manju Agarwal – a lovely Mom from Rajasthan.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can use one of the chillies or combination of both the chillies.
  • To reduce the spiciness of chillies, remove the seeds.
  • Red Chilli powder gives a nice colour. If you want you can avoid it as well.
  • After 2 hours of preparation, the pickle is ready to use. You can store this pickle for 1 week without any refrigeration.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Red Chillies -4 big one
  • Fresh Green Chillies - 4 big one
  • Mustard oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Pickle Masala - 2 Teaspoon
  • Vinegar - 1 & 1/2 Tablespoon
  • INGREDIENTS FOR PICKLE MASALA:-
  • Mustard seeds - 2 Teaspoon
  • Danamethi/Fenugrek Seeds - 1 Teaspoon
  • Saunf/Fennel Seeds - 1 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. PREPARING THE PICKLE MASALA:- Take a grinder jar and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, fennel seeds. Grind it to make a coarse powder.
  2. Wash and dry the chillies completely. Then remove the seeds and chop them in small rounds. Transfer to the bowl.
  3. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pickle masala, mustard oil, vinegar. Mix well.
  • Servings : 4 to 6
  • Ready in : 5 Minutes
