This ‘Shahi Tukdi ‘ recipe is very easy and comes out really tasty. If you are thinking of the fried bread and worrying about the calories, just stop worrying. In this recipe the bread is baked instead of frying. So enjoy eating the ‘Shahi Tukdi’ guilt-free.

Ingredients

  • Bread Slices : 4-6
  • Condensed Milk : 4-6 tablespoon
  • Butter or Ghee : 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped Almonds, Cashew nuts and Pista : 2 tablespoon
  • Cardamom/Elaichi powder : 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Cut bread slices in round shape with a round cookie cutter .
  2. If you want, you can brush the bread with butter or ghee on both the sides for more shine.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes and bake the bread for 5-8 minutes. You can also roast this on tawa on slow flame. Make sure you take it out when its crispy from both the sides.
  4. Spread condensed milk on the baked bread. Sprinkle cardamom/elaichi powder and chopped nuts.
  5. Crunchy mouth-watering Shahi tukdi is now ready . Enjoy!
