Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat flour - 1& 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon
  • Cabbage - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Capsicum - 1/2 cut julienne
  • Carrot julienne - 1/2 cup
  • Spring onions - 2 cut long strips, separate green from rest
  • Onion - 1 small julienne
  • Oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Corn starch - 2 teaspoon
  • Ginger - small piece crushed
  • Cloves of garlic - 4 finely chopped
  • Green chillies - 1 finely chopped
  • French beans - 5 juliens
  • Soy sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Schezwan sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl add 1 & 1/2 cup of wheat flour. Add 1/2 teaspoon oil and make chapati dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Then roll thin chapatis. Cook them lightly on tawa and keep aside (do not cook them completely)
  3. PREPARING THE STUFFING:- In a bowl add cabbage, carrots, little salt and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then squeeze out the water.
  4. In a kadhai, heat 2 tablespoon oil. heat it
  5. Add ginger, chilies and garlic and saute for a minute. Then add onions and white part of spring onions. Saute for a minute.
  6. Add capsicum and french beans, saute for a minute.
  7. Add cabbage and carrots schezwan sauce, soy sauce. Toss well.
  8. Then add 1 teaspoon of corn starch. Cook for a minute then switch off the flame. Let the mixture cool completely.
  9. Make a paste out of 1 tablespoon of whole wheat flour and little water.
  10. Add water to the remaining corn starch to make a thin paste or slurry.
  11. On wooden board place one chapati, spread the mixture, make a roll by folding the sides. Use wheat flour paste to stick the sides.
  12. Apply corn starch paste to each roll before placing in Airfryer. Brush the rolls with oil too. Grease the basket of airfryer as well.
  13. Preheat Airfryer for 3 minutes at 180 degrees.
  14. Place the rolls in airfryer. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Check in between and also flip the spring rolls. Once done, take them out.
  15. Delicious 'Spring Rolls in Airfryer' is ready to be served. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
