Ingredients

  • Maida/Refined flour - 1/2 Cup
  • Whole Wheat flour - 1 Cup
  • Baking soda - 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Butter - 2 Tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 Tablespoon
  • Sugar - 3/4 Cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Flax seed - 1 Tablespoon, soaked in 2 tablespoon of hot water
  • Strawberries - 1/2 Cup, chopped
  • Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/4 Cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 Degrees Celcius. Beat the butter and sugar together in a bowl with the help of beater.
  2. Add vanilla essence, soaked flax seed, olive oil. Beat again.
  3. Sieve wheat flour, maida, baking soda together. Add this to butter mixture. Lightly fold to combine all the ingredients together.
  4. Add strawberries and chocolate chips. Mix well.
  5. Add milk as required to the mixture and make a soft dough. Take a small portion of the dough and make cookies of the desired shape.
  6. Arrange the cookies on a greased baking tray.
  7. Bake it in a preheated oven at 170 Degrees Celcius for 40 to 50 minutes or Till the cookies turn light brown.
  8. Cool them on a wire rack.
  9. Yummy 'Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies' is ready to be served.
