Stuffed Dhokla Muffin – Yummy Breakfast!
Ingredients
- Besan/ chickpea flour - 1 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Water -2/3cup
- Turmeric- 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice -1 tablespoons
- Sugar -1 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Baking powder -1/2 teaspoon
- Eno -1/2 teaspoon
- FOR TADKA: Oil-1 tablespoon
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped green chili - 4
- Chopped coriander -1 tablespoons
- Curry leaves -10-12
- FOR STUFFING: Boiled potato - 2
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped onion - 1/2 cup
- Mustard seeds/Rai - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry mango/amchur powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dal masala - 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients of dhokla and make smooth batter with water.
- FOR THE STUFFING: Heat oil and add mustard seeds until it splutters. Then add mashed potatoes and all spices and mix it until all the ingredients are blended. Make small flat balls out of this stuffing.
- Grease a muffin cup with oil, pour one tablespoon dhokla batter, then put the stuffing ball and finally pour 1 tablespoon dhokla batter on top of the stuffing. Steam the muffin cups for 10 minutes.
- FOR TADKA : Heat the oil and add mustard seeds until it splutters. Add curry leaves and chopped green chili to it.
- Take the sandwich out of the muffin cup and pour the tadka over it. Serve your "Stuffed Dhokla Muffin" and relish it!
