Summer Special Drinks | Mango Shake and Cold Coffee are two extremely refreshing summer special drinks.

Summer Special Drinks | Mango Shake and Cold Coffee are the summer special refreshing drinks. Mango shake comprises of mangoes and milk. And cold coffee is a yummy version of chilled coffee. Both these drinks are simply a 5-minute effort and can soothe your body from this scorching heat. The creamy mango shake is the best as it has the goodness of mangoes. And cold coffee has the right amount of caffeine to get you energized.

Tips and Suggestions by the Chef –

  • FOR PREPARING MANGO SHAKE –
  • Use any milk, as per your choice.
  • Sugar too can be added more / less as per your liking.
  • FOR PREPARING COLD COFFEE –
  • Use coffee powder more if you want your coffee to be dark. And less, if you want a lighter version.
  • Use sugar too, according to your palate.
  • Use lukewarm water to beat the coffee, in order to avoid lumps and enhanced taste.

Ingredients

  • INGREDIENTS FOR MANGO SHAKE -
  • Milk - 1 Cup ( chilled )
  • Mango - 1 big ( peeled and diced )
  • Cardamom powder / elaichi powder - A pinch
  • Sugar - 1 and a half teaspoons ( depending upon taste )
  • Home made cream / Malai - 1 Tablespoon
  • For Ganishing -
  • Few pieces of mangoes cut and peeled.
  • INGREDIENTS FOR COLD COFFEE -
  • Coffee - 1 teaspoon
  • Milk - 1 glass ( chilled )
  • Sugar - 1 and a half teaspoon
  • Ice - as per liking

Instructions

  1. For Mango Shake -
  2. In a blender , add mangoes , milk, cardamom powder, sugar and few ice cubes
  3. Blend it till everything is blended properly and add homemade cream. Blend it again and the shake is ready.
  4. Transfer it in a serving glass and top it with some diced mangoes.
  5. Chilled Mango Shake is ready to be gulped down.
  6. For Cold Coffee -
  7. In a bowl, add cofee and lukewarm water. Beat it till it becomes smooth without lumps.
  8. In a blender, add chilled milk , sugar and the coffee mixture and ice cubes.
  9. Blend it till everything is blended. ( for a minute )
  10. Transfer it to a serving glass , and sprinkle some coffee on the top for enhanced taste.
  • Servings : 1 Serving each
