Ingredients

  • Boiled Sweet Corn - 1 bowl
  • Onion - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste or finely grated - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Jeera/Cumin Seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Grated coconut - 1 tablespoon
  • Asafoetida - A pinch
  • Coriander leaves - a few
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida.
  2. Add onions and ginger-garlic and sauté it for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder and grated coconut.
  4. Add coriander leaves and cook for a minute.
  5. Add the boiled sweet corn kernels and let it cook for for 3-4 minutes on medium flame with covered lid.
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve sweet corn curry/sabzi hot with chapatis.
