Aloo Bites | Potato Bites is a spicy and tasty tea-time snack. This tasty and crisp snack is made with boiled potato, cornflour, bread crumbs, and some spices. It is a nice crispy and square-shaped dish. In addition, it is a perfect starter for any party or any special occasion and the best munching evening snack. You can serve these aloo bites as a side with a burger or any deep-fried meal but can be served as it is. So try to make this recipe in your kitchen and share your valuable feedback with us.

Ingredients

  • Potato / Aloo - 3 Boiled and mashed
  • Corn flour - 2 Tablespoons
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • Bread crumbs - As required
  • Oil - For greasing + For frying

Instructions

  1. Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a bowl. Add cornflour, coriander leaves, salt, black pepper powder, red chili powder, and bread crumbs. Mix well.
  2. Add some more bread crumbs. Prepare it like dough.
  3. Then grease hands with oil. Take a small portion of the mixture on the palm. Give it a nice cylinder shape.
  4. Take a fork spoon and press it on both edges of the cylinder-shaped potato mixture. Cut its semicircle edges from both sides. Then cut it from the middle. Prepare square-shaped potato bites. Likewise, prepare all potato bites from the mixture.
  5. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan to fry the potato bites. Place potato bites into the hot oil. Fry them on medium flame.
  6. Deep fry them until they become crispy and golden brown from both sides. Then, take them out on a serving plate using a slotted spoon.
  7. 'Aloo Bites | Potato Bites' is ready to be served.
