Bhakarwadi is very famous and a mouthwatering snack.

Bhakarwadi or Bakarwadi is a popular tea-time snack. The spicy and sweet mixture is rolled in the dough then fried. This yummy snack has two origins – one is Vadodara, Gujarat and other is Pune, Maharashtra. This is very simple and easy to make by following this recipe. This tastes spicy, tangy and sweet at the same time. This crunchy snack is so flavourful and delicious that you can’t wait to eat it. This will be loved by all. So, try it out soon.

This tasty snack prepared by Sudha Bansilal Dalal – A 75-years-old Grandmom from Gujarat with 50 plus years of cooking experience!!

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Apply the dry mango-sugar water generously, else the spice mixture will get separated from the dough while frying.
  • Fry the bhakarwadi on a low flame to get it crispy and perfectly cooked.
  • Make a medium-soft dough.
  • Keep it in an airtight container.
