Bharwa Hari Mirch | Stuffed Green Chilli is a delicious side dish for your meals.

Bharwa Hari Mirch | Stuffed Green Chilli is a perfect option when you do not have veggies at home or you want something chatpata as a side dish for meals. This is very easy to prepare with green chillies, boiled potato and some basic spices. It gets ready within minutes. This tastes amazing with paratha or chapati too. You don’t need much efforts, time and ingredients for this yummy side dish. So, try to make this dish at your end and do let us know your feedback.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • You can add spices according to your taste.
  • Use big sized green chillies. If the chillies are spicy then you can remove the seeds.
  • Cook the chillies on a medium flame. Keep the chillies little crunchy. It will taste good.
  • You can store the cooked chillies in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.

Ingredients

  • Green Chilli - 4
  • Boiled Potato/Aloo - 2 medium sized
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Cumin/Jeera powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Amchur/Mango powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Coriander Leaves - a handful chopped
  • Mustard Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add mashed boiled potato, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder, chaat masala, coriander leaves. Mix all together.
  2. Wash and dry the green chillies. You can wipe it using a cloth. Then make a slit in the chillies.
  3. Stuff the potato mixture in the green chillies.
  4. Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan.
  5. Place the stuffed chillies in the pan. Cover and cook on a medium flame.
  6. After 2 minutes, flip the chillies and cook from other side too. Cover with a lid and cook.
  7. Once the chillies gets cooked from all the sides, take them out.
  8. Delicious 'Bharwa Hari Mirch | Stuffed Green Chilli' is ready to be served. You can cut the chillies while serving.
