Bhel Puri | Mumbai Special Bhelpuri is a lip-smacking chaat recipe from the street of Mumbai. 

Bhel Puri | Mumbai Special Bhelpuri is a simple yet delicious snack. This has puffed rice, some veggies, some chutneys and namkeen. Peanuts and papadi adds crunch to the dish. This is spicy, tangy and full of flavours. Moreover, this quick and easy to prepare. This can be a great snack item for your tea time or for your guest. You can prepare this snack for get-togethers and kitty pasty as well. This does not require much preparation and efforts. You have just mix all the ingredients before serving. So, try to make this yummy snack at your end and enjoy with your loved ones.

  • You can make it dry or little wet as per your choice. You can add the quantities of chutneys as per your taste.
  • Use any sweet chutney of your choice to make the bhel.
  • Serve it immediately after mixing all the ingredients else it will turn soggy.

Ingredients

  • Murmure/Kheel/Muri/Puffed Rice - 1 Cup
  • Fried Peanuts - a handful
  • Boiled potato - 1/2 diced
  • Onion - 1 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Tomato - 1 Tablespoon finely chopped
  • Garlic Chutney - as per taste
  • Sweet Tamarind Chutney - as per taste
  • Green Chutney - as per taste
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Lemon Juice - as per taste
  • Coriander Leaves - 2 Tablespoon chopped
  • Papadi - as required
  • Nylon Sev - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add roasted murmure/puffed rice, papadi, nylon sev, chopped onion, tomato, diced boiled potato. Mix well and add garlic chutney, green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, chaat masala, coriander leaves. Mix well together.
  2. Take a serving plate, add bhel. Garnish it with papadi, nylon sev and coriander leaves.
  3. Delicious 'Bhel Puri | Mumbai Special Bhelpuri' is ready to be served.
