Ingredients

  • For Coffee:-
  • Milk - 1/2 Cup
  • Sugar - 2 Teaspoon
  • Coffee Powder - 1 Teaspoon
  • Glucose Biscuits - 3
  • For Coffee Balls:-
  • Ghee/Clarified butter - 1 Tablespoon
  • Milk powder - 1 Cup
  • Cocoa Powder - 2 Tablespoon
  • Sugar - 1/2 Cup
  • Desiccated Coconut - 3/4 Cup + for garnishing
  • Walnuts - 1/4 Cup chopped
  • Almonds - 1/4 Cup
  • Milk - 2 Tablespoon if required
  • Chocolate vermicelli/sprinkles - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take a saucepan to make coffee.
  2. Add milk, sugar and coffee powder to make coffee. Add glucose biscuits to it. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Now, take a pan and melt ghee. Add milk powder and roast it on a medium flame until it turns light brown in colour. It will take about 5 to 7 minutes to get roasted.
  4. When the milk powder turns light brown, add cocoa powder, sugar, desiccated coconut. Mix well.
  5. Now, add coffee to it. Mix well. If you feel that the mixture is very dry, add some milk to it. Mix well.
  6. Add chopped dry nuts to it, mix well. It should be without lumps.
  7. Switch off the gas. Transfer to a plate and let it cool.
  8. Now, make small round and smooth balls of the mix.
  9. Take a plate, spread desiccated coconut and chocolate sprinkles.
  10. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut and chocolate sprinkles to coat it. Keep aside.
  11. Delicious 'Brazilian Coffee Balls' is ready to be served. Serve these balls in small colourful muffin liners.
  12. Note: You can make and store these coffee balls in a refrigerator for up to 15 Days.
