Ingredients

  • Corn kernels (dry) - 1/2 cup
  • Butter/ makkhan - 1 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin seeds/ jeera powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chilli/ lal mirch powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt/ namak (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Heat a pressure cooker. Add butter.
  2. Add corn kernels and simmer the gas.
  3. Add all the dry masalas and turn the gas to medium high.
  4. Cover with lid. Do not close it.
  5. Wait for the popping sound and switch off the gas when the sound stops.
  6. Enjoy yummy 'Butter Masala Popcorn'.
