Ingredients

  • Paneer - 200 gm
  • Tomato - 4-5 chopped
  • Onion - 2-3
  • Green chili - 2
  • Cinnamon - 2
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tablespoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter -100 gm
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh cream - 2-3 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Bay leaf - 1 -2
  • Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
  • Dry Methi - 1 tablespoon
  • Cashew - 10-15

Instructions

  1. Heat a wok ,add butter 50gm& cinnamon
  2. Add chopped tomato& green chili. Stir it for 1 minute.
  3. Add chopped onion, salt and saute it for 2 minutes.
  4. Add cardamom,dry red chilli & soak cashew (1 hour soak cashew in water)
  5. Add 1 glass of water and cover with lid for 5 minutes .
  6. Let it cool.
  7. When it cools down, grind it and then sieve it.
  8. Heat a pan add remaining butter,add cumin seeds & red chilli powder.
  9. Add turmeric & sieve gravy. Cook it for a minute.
  10. Add 1/4 salt& sugar.
  11. Rub kasori methi with hand & put in gravy.
  12. Finally add cream and cook for 1 more minute.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  14. Butter Paneer Masala is ready to be served !!
