Cheese Paneer Paratha is a protein and calcium rich breakfast dish.

Cheese Paneer Paratha is a wholesome and full of energy breakfast dish. It requires mainly three ingredients. The paneer and cheese mixture is rich in nutrients, which makes a stomach filling dish for starting the mornings. The paratha is roasted and cooked in ghee, making it more healthy and easy to digest. Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese/Paneer - 1 cup grated
  • Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
  • Cheese - 2 tablespoon grated
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili powder/Lal mirch powder - to taste
  • Whole wheat dough - for making 2 to 3 parathas
  • Clarified butter/Ghee - as required

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, take the grated paneer, put coriander leaves, grated cheese, salt to taste and red chili powder to taste. Mix well with spoon.
  2. Take a portion of the dough, roll it to make a small roti. Keep the mixture in the middle, fold from all the four sides like a envelope. Roll to make a paratha.
  3. On a hot pan, place the paratha, roast it from one side. Flip, apply ghee and allow it to roast from other side.
  4. Apply ghee from the other side, press from all the four sides. Keep the flame low and cook, so that it becomes crispy. Take it out and cut in four pieces.
  5. The Cheese Paneer Paratha is ready to be served.
