Chilli Baby Corn | Crispy Chilli Baby Corn is a lip-smacking snack for everyone. 

Do you want something different to much or for an evening snack? Then here is the recipe of ‘Chilli Baby Corn | Crispy Chilli Baby Corn’. This is a crispy and flavourful dish. This uses baby corn, onion, capsicums, different sauces. This is a very popular Indo-Chinese dish in restaurants. Now, you can easily prepare this dish at home by following simple step and procedure. Also, this does not require many ingredients. You can serve this as a party appetizer or an evening snack as well. So, try to make this dish at home and enjoy with your family and friends.

Ingredients

  • Baby corn - 200 Gram
  • Corn Flour/Corn Starch - 2 Tablespoon
  • Maida/Refined flour - 1 Tablespoon
  • Chawal Ka Aata/Rice flour - 1/2 Tablespoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Red Chilli Powder - a pinch
  • Soy Sauce - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Oil - as required for frying
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS:-
  • Onion - 1 diced
  • Tri-colour Capsicum - 1/2 Cup diced
  • Garlic - 4 to 5 cloves
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
  • Green Chilli - 1 slit
  • Soy Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Vinegar - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Black pepper powder - as per taste
  • Sugar - a pinch
  • Oil - 1 Teaspoon
  • White Sesame Seeds - as required

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the baby corn into small long pieces. Then oil in water for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then drain the water completely.
  2. Take a bowl and add corn flour/corn starch, refined flour, rice flour, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, soy sauce. Add water to make batter of flowing but thick consistency.
  3. Heat oil for frying.
  4. Put the baby corn pieces in the batter and coat well. Then fry them on a low flame. Once they turn crispy, take them out.
  5. Now, heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add chopped garlic, ginger and 1 slit green chilli. Saute it for few seconds.
  7. Then add diced onion and saute for few seconds.
  8. Put diced tri-colour capsicum and saute them for few seconds. Add salt and saute.
  9. Add tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. Mix well.
  10. Then add fried baby corn. Mix well and cook for few seconds. Then switch off the flame. Transfer to the serving plate and garnish it with sesame seeds.
  11. Delicious 'Chilli Baby Corn | Crispy Chilli Baby Corn' is ready to be served.
