Corn Flakes Bhel a delicious snack. 

Corn Flakes Bhel is a quick and easy snack option. This is a perfect snack for an evening tea-time or munching snack for kids as well as for all family members. This is a super easy and quick to prepare with easily available ingredients. Moreover, this is a very healthy snack option as this uses lots of veggies like potato, onion, tomato, capsicum. Pomegranate seed gives nice tangy-sweet flavour to the bhel. So, try to make this bhel at home and relish with your family and friends.

Tips and Suggestions by Mom Chef:-

  • Available veggies of choice can be added to make the bhel.
  • Adding pumpkin seeds is completely optional. You can use any type of seeds and namkeen of your choice to make the bhel.
  • The bhel should be served immediately after mixing all the ingredients.
  • You can add different chutneys to the bhel if you want.

Ingredients

  • Corn Flakes - 1 bowl
  • Boiled potato - 1 chopped
  • Tomato - 1 medium sized, chopped
  • Onion - 1 medium sized, chopped
  • Tricolour Capsicum - 2 Tablespoon chopped
  • Green chilli - 1 chopped
  • Pomegranate seeds - a handful
  • Pumpkin seeds - 1 to 2 Tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - of 1 lemon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Fried Moong Dal - as required
  • Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
  • Namkeen Thick Sev - as required
  • Nylon Sev - as required for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add boiled chopped potato, tomato, onion, tricolour capsicum, green chilli, pomegranate seeds, pumpkin seeds, corn flakes, lemon juice, salt, chaat masala, coriander leaves, fried moong dal, and namkeen sev (thick sev). Toss well to mix all the ingredients.
  2. Delicious 'Corn Flakes Bhel' is ready to be served. Garnish it with nylon sev and chopped coriander leaves and serve immediately.
