Eggless Omelette – 5 Minute Recipe is a delicious vegetarian snack option.

Eggless Omelette – 5 Minute Recipe is a purely vegetarian and a healthy snack/breakfast. This uses gram flour, little refined flour with the crunch of onion. You can easily prepare this snack in just 5 minutes. This is fluffy and soft in texture with amazing taste. Moreover, it is very healthy too. You can serve it as a breakfast or a tiffin snack for kids. They will enjoy this vegetarian omelette. So, try it out and let us know your feedback.

Tips and Suggestion by Mom Chef:-

  • You can add veggies such as carrot, capsicum to make it healthier.
  • Make a smooth batter of flowing consistency.
  • Whisk the batter for a couple of minutes after adding baking powder to make it fluffier.
  • You can use butter or ghee/clarified butter.

Ingredients

  • Besan/Gram flour - 1/4 Cup
  • Maida/Refined flour - 1 Teaspoon
  • Onion - 1 Teaspoon
  • Green Chilli - 1/2 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves - 1 Teaspoon chopped
  • Chaat Masala - as per taste
  • Baking powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Salt - as per taste
  • Ghee/Clarified butter OR Butter - as required

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and add gram flour, refined flour. Add little water at a time to make a batter of smooth and flowing consistency and whisk it for a minute.
  2. Then add salt and baking powder and whisk it for a minute.
  3. Add finely chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, and chaat masala. Mix well.
  4. Heat a pan and grease it with butter or ghee.
  5. Pour the batter direct from the bowl. Spread it little.
  6. Pour some ghee on the sides and cook it on a medium flame by covering with a lid. Once it is cooked from one side flip it and cook it on other side too.
  7. Delicious 'Eggless Omlette - 5 Minute Recipe' is ready to be served.
