EXOTIC SOYA CHANA DAL KEBAB – By K MUTREJA!

Soya Chana Dal Kebab is a yummy snack option which tastes delicious when served with green chutney or tomato sauce!

Ingredients

  • Chana dal -1 bowl
  • Fortune soya badi - 1 bowl
  • Onion (fine chopped) - big size
  • Green coriander-1 small bunch
  • Green chillies - 2 to 3
  • Bread crumbs-1/4 bowl
  • Spices: Salt as per taste, Red Chili powder-1/2 teaspoon and Chat masala -1/2 teaspoon
  • Ginger paste-1 teaspoon
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak chana dal for 2-3 hours.
  2. After soaking drain it completely and grind to a coarse mixture.(few whole lentils should be left for adding a crunch)
  3. Grind soya badi to a coarse mixture.
  4. Mix chana dal, soya badi mixture, chopped onion, chopped green coriander, green chilies, ginger paste, salt, chat masala and red chili powder in a bowl.
  5. Make kebabs of round shapes and coat it with bread crumbs.
  6. Deep fry in medium flame.
  7. Place the soya chana dal kebab on kitchen paper to get rid of extra oil.
  8. Garnish with green coriander and serve it with green chatni and tomato sauce.
