Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING AAMRAS :
  • Mango / Aam - 1
  • Powdered sugar - 1 tbsp
  • FOR PREPARING GUJARATI PAD WALI ROTI :
  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata -
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING AAMRAS :
  2. Squeeze the mango, to remove its pulp. Turn over the mango peel, to take out the pulp from the inside in the bowl. Add sugar.
  3. Then grind it with the hand electric blender to make juice. Take it out to the serving bowl.
  4. FOR PREPARING GUJARATI PAD WALI ROTI :
  5. Take medium soft wheat dough and make 2 round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a small roti. Likewise, prepare another small roti.
  6. Now apply ghee and sprinkle whole wheat flour on both rotis. Now join both rotis from the ghee applied side and press it. Dust it with flour and roll it.
  7. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the prepared roti on the tawa. Cook it from one side.
  8. Flip it once it is slightly brown and cook it on a low to medium flame. Roast it by pressing it using a cloth/tissue.
  9. Once done. Take it out to the serving plate. Then separate both roti and apply ghee to the inside part of the roti.
  10. 'Gujarati Pad Wali Roti With Aamras' is ready to be served.
