How To Make Indian Masala Tea, exactly like roadside tea stall in India is a common question. A hot cup of chai/tea is loved by everyone in every Indian house, especially in winters and rainy seasons. Tea is an integral part of the daily routine of every Indian. Nothing can beat the Indian tea whereas Thele ki chai/roadside tea tastes really wonderful. This tea is great in the evening with some snacks. So, try to make thele wali chai/ thadi chai at home and let us know your feedback.

Ingredients

  • Milk - 1 ½ Cups
  • Water - 1 ½ Cups
  • Tea Powder/Chaipatti - 1 ½ to 2 Teaspoon
  • Black Pepper / Kali Mirch - 1 Pinch
  • Sugar - 2 to 3 Teaspoon
  • Cardamom / Elaichi - 2
  • Ginger - 1 Inch
  • Chai Masala - 1 Pinch (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a pan.
  2. Add grated/crushed ginger, black pepper in the boiling water. Let it boil.
  3. Then add chai masala and tea powder. Stir it continuously.
  4. Now add milk. Let it boil. Stir it with a spoon.
  5. Add crushed cardamom and sugar. Let it boil multiple times.
  6. Switch off the flame. Filter it out in a kettle.
  7. Most famous Thele ki chai is ready to be served.
