Ingredients

  • 2 cup boiled Mashed Potatoes
  • ¾ cup Bread Crumbs
  • Oil for frying
  • ½ tsp Mustard seeds
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • ½ tsp Green Chilly paste
  • 1 cup Fresh coconut grinded (thick paste)
  • 10 Cashew nuts
  • ½ tsp Red chilly powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp Coriander Powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix potatoes and bread crumbs and prepare a non stick dough.
  2. Method for stuffing - Heat a few drops of oil in a heavy pan. Crackle mustard seeds; add Curry leaves garlic paste and green chilly paste in small amount. Cook for few seconds, add fresh coconut thick paste, cashew nuts, red chilly powder, black pepper powder, Coriander powder, salt to taste. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. Mix potatoes and bread crumbs well to make a soft dough.
  4. Make Small balls from dough and spread it evenly on your palm.
  5. Stuff the coconut mixture and make balls from it.
  6. Make all the same way
  7. Fry them on medium flame till golden brown and crisp texture.
  8. Serve with spicy green sauce and sweet n sour spicy tamarind sauce.
