Leftover Chapati Cutlets or Tikkies – Yummy

Recently I had chapatis or roti leftover from previous night dinner. So I decided rather than to just let it go waste, how about preparing a delicious breakfast for the family and to everyone’s delight, it turned out to be so yummy. Let us get started.

Ingredients

  • Leftover Chapati from previous night Dinner : 4
  • Onion : 1 small piece
  • Cabbage : 1/4 piece
  • Capsicum : 1/2 piece
  • Spinach : 1 small bowl
  • Green Chilli : 1 piece
  • Ginger : 1 small piece
  • Coriander leaves : 1 small bunch
  • Gram Flour or Chickpea Flour : 2 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil: 1 teaspoon
  • Spices : Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric powder, Garam Masala powder as per taste.
  • Salt : as per taste

Instructions

  1. Soak the leftover chapati or roti in water for 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes, take the chapatis and mash it into small pieces with a masher.
  3. Chop all the vegetables into small pieces and add them to the mashed chapatis.
  4. Add gram flour to the mixture. You can also add grated cheese or paneer to the mixture as per taste.
  5. Mix all the spices mentioned above and make the cutlets in round shape from the mixture.
  6. Put one teaspoon of oil in the pan and then cook the cutlets or tikkies from both the sides.
  7. Once it is cooked, garnish with sev and serve it hot with tomato sauce. Enjoy tasty Leftover Chapati Cutlets or Tikkies
