Ingredients

  • Boiled potato / Aloo - 2 to 3 Peeled and mashed
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - 1 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Schezwan sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Leftover chapati - 2
  • Cheese slice - 1 Cut into small pieces
  • All purpose flour / Maida - 1 tsp
  • Water - 2 tsp
  • Clarified butter / Ghee - As required
  • Nylon sev - As required
  • Veg mayonnaise - For garnishing
  • Tomato ketchup - For garnishing
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take boiled potato in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, salt, red chilli powder, all spice mix powder, and schezwan sauce. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  2. Take all purpose flour in a bowl. Add water gradually and prepare a medium thick lumps-free slurry.
  3. Take leftover chapati. Cut it in a half. Put the prepared potato stuffing on one side corner of the chapati. Put a cheese slice piece on it.
  4. Then start folding chapati to make a triangle shape. Apply the prepared slurry to the open edge of the chapati.
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Grease it with ghee. Place the prepared samosa on it and cook it on one side. Flip it, once it is slightly brown.
  6. Apply ghee on both sides and roast on a low flame. Press the samosa while roasting it, to make a crispy and nicely golden brown samosa.
  7. Once done, transfer it to a plate. Coat the bottom open side of the samosa with nylon sev and transfer it to a serving plate. Likewise, prepare all samosa.
  8. Garnish them with tomato ketchup, veg mayonnaise, and coriander leaves.
