Malai Sandwich a delicious and healthy breakfast and snack option for all, especially kids.

Sweet, creamy and a lip-smacking sandwich is Malai Sandwich. A very healthy dish which uses homemade cream that is malai, some dry fruits. This is a very quick and easy breakfast and snack for everyone. It requires the ingredients which are easily available in the kitchen. And the good thing is it does not require any special preparation. Moreover, this is a perfect way to feed the malai/homemade cream and dry fruits to the kids. So, try to make this sandwich at your end and do let us know how was it.

Ingredients

  • Bread slices - 4
  • Homemade Cream/Malai - 2 to 3 Talespoon
  • Powdered sugar - 2 Teaspoon to taste
  • Pista/Pistachios - a few, sliced
  • Badam/Almonds - a few, sliced
  • Elaichi/Cardamom powder - 1/2 Teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add and mix well malai, powdered sugar, sliced almond, pistachios and cardamom powder.
  2. Spread a spoonful of the malai mixture on a bread slice. Cover it with another bread slice.
  3. Meanwhile, heat a tawa or pan. Grease it with ghee.
  4. Grill the sandwich on the tawa until the colour changes to a nice golden brown on both the sides.
  5. Once done, take it out on a plate, cut into triangles and garnish it with malai mixture, sliced almonds and pistachios.
  6. Yummy 'Malai Sandwich' is ready to be served.
