Ingredients

  • Whole wheat dough / Gehu ka aata - As required
  • Oil - As required
  • Red chilli powder / Lal mirch powder - As required
  • Turmeric powder / Haldi powder - As required
  • Dry mango powder / Amchur powder - As required
  • Pomegranate powder / Anardana powder - As required
  • Dry fenugreek leaves / Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Carom Seeds / Ajwain - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Sesame seeds / Til - As required
  • tsp = teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a small ball sized wheat dough and make a round shaped circular peda from the dough. Dust it with flour and roll a peda to make a paratha.
  2. Apply oil to it. Sprinkle red chilli powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, pomegranate, dry fenugreek leaves, carom seeds, and little salt. Spread it well.
  3. Now, take one side of the paratha and fold it one upon another, as if folding to make a fan, then prepare a roll from it. Apply oil to it.
  4. Then roll it over to make a circle and press it with your hands. Sprinkle sesame seeds on it. Dust it with flour and slightly spread it with your hands. Then roll it with light hands to make a paratha
  5. Meanwhile, heat a tawa. Place the prepared paratha on the tawa. Cook it from one side.
  6. Flip it once it is slightly brown, add oil around the paratha and cook it from both sides on a low to medium flame. Press the paratha while cooking it to make it crispy.
  7. Once done. Take it out to the serving plate.
