Masala Paneer | Chatpata Paneer is a colorful and protein-rich instant snack.

Masala Paneer | Chatpata Paneer is a delicious appetizer. This is a good starter for parties or any special occasion. You can easily prepare it with paneer and some spices. In addition, the preparation for this dish is extremely simple. It is a mouthwatering snack for all. Moreover, the paneer is roasted in butter which makes it more healthy and easy to digest. Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese / Paneer - 500 gms Diced
  • Butter - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Black pepper powder / Kali mirch powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Peri-peri masala - 1 tsp
  • All spice mix powder / Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry fenugreek leaves / Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves / Hara dhaniya - A handful + For garnishing
  • Chilli flakes - 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice / Nimbu ka ras - Of 1/2 lemon
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds and saute it for a few seconds. Then add paneer. Mix well.
  2. Saute it for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame. Add salt, black pepper powder, chaat masala, peri-peri masala, all spice mix powder, dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing between your palm, and oregano. Mix well.
  3. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.
  4. Lastly, add coriander leaves and chilli flakes. Mix well and turn off the flame. Then add lemon juice and mix well.
  5. Once done, take it out to a serving plate. Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  6. 'Masala Paneer | Chatpata Paneer' is ready to be served.
