Ingredients

  • FOR PREPARING DOUGH :
  • Whole Wheat Dough / Gehu Ka Aata - 1 Cup
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Water - As required
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Ginger-Green Chilli Paste / Adrak-Hari Mirch Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Boiled Potato / Uble Hue Aloo - 3 to 4 Peeled and mashed
  • Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder / Lal Mirch Powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - As per taste
  • Dry Coriander Seeds / Sabut Dhaniya - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds / Jeera - 1 tbsp
  • Black Peppercorns / Kali Mirch - 1 tsp
  • Dry Mango Powder / Amchur - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya - A handful
  • OTHER INGREDIENTS :
  • Oil - For frying
  • tsp = teaspoon
  • tbsp = tablespoon

Instructions

  1. FOR PREPARING DOUGH :
  2. Take whole wheat dough in a mixing bowl. Add salt and oil. Mix well. Then add water gradually to prepare a medium soft dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. FOR PREPARING STUFFING :
  4. Take dry coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and black peppercorns in a pan. Roast it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame till the nice aroma begins to rise. Let it cool down completely. Then coarsely grind it.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger-green chilli paste, boiled potato, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well.
  6. Now add salt, coarsely ground spices mixture, dry mango powder, and coriander leaves. Mix well. Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down completely.
  7. FOR PREPARING MINI SAMOSA :
  8. Make a small round ball from the dough and roll it into a small roti. Stuff it with the prepared stuffing and fold it. Press the edge with your fingers. Cut it from the between. Press and seal the cut side. Likewise prepare all the samosas.
  9. Heat oil for frying on medium flame. Now put the samosa carefully in the oil and fry them on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip it using a slotted spoon.
  10. Deep fry them until they become golden brown from both sides. Once done. Take them out to a serving plate.
  11. 'Mini Samosa | Spicy Mini Samosa' is ready to be served.
